High Temperature Sewing Threads

High-Temperature Sewing Threads are specifically designed to replace various types of synthetic and asbestos sewing threads. These threads are coated with lubricants to improve handling characteristics. GLT Products stocks various Teflon and coated sewing threads that will not burn or support combustion in normal atmospheres. We also stock other high-temperature threads, such as KEVLAR® threads. Kevlar threads are frequently used in removable and reusable insulation blankets for Marine, Aerospace, Industrial and commercial applications. Please consult your sales rep for additional sewing threads that may not be listed here.
